The Circle in the Square website suggests driving or taking an Uber or taxi to the venue due to the hectic nature of public transport in the area during the time of a show. However, if public transport is the only option for you, then there are ways to get to the theater. If you give yourself plenty of time, you might even be able to avoid the rush! 

Subway

The subway is the simplest way to get to the Circle in the Square Theatre when travelling via public transport. 

Take either the A, C, or E train and head to the 50th Street station. You can also take the number one or number two train to the same station. 

Once you arrive at 50th Street, the theater is between Eighth Avenue and Broadway, only a short walk away from where you will disembark from the train. 

Buses

There are a few bus routes that will also take you close to the Circle in the Square Theatre. 

Opt for the M7 or M20 buses, as they travel down 7th Avenue and stop close to 50th Street. The M140 bus also stops near 50th Street, but it runs through Broadway.
