Romeo and Juliet tickets

Shakespeare meets Gen Z Romeo + Juliet will dominate the Broadway stage of Circle in The Square Theater for TWENTY WEEKS. Tony Award winning director Sam Gold is taking his last Shakespeare tragedy in a youthful stride, featuring the young main cast in their Broadway debut: Rachel Zegler of West Side Story and Kit Connor of Heartstopper. In this upcoming Sunday, October 13th, 2024, rekindle your love for theater in an unparalleled Romeo and Juliet experience.

The story is the same, but you'll find yourself gasping in surprise at the immersive performance by the talented cast, further invigorated by the music of Grammy winner Jack Antonoff and movement by Tony winner Sonya Tayeh. The modern edge of Sam Gold's adaptation is searingly queer, humorous, and so modern that will make anyone believe in the timelessness of Shakespeare's works.

Tickets to the Broadway's Sunday show are very limited. Grab yours quickly by clicking the "Get Tickets" button!

It's breathtaking. It's fresh. The stories of old has taken a new form---still bursting in the same story, the same universal themes of love, hope, and betrayal but now, it is giving Shakespeare meet Gen Z. In Tony Award winner Sam Gold's final Shakespeare adaptation, your jaw will drop at the classic tale of Romeo + Juliet, featuring West Side Story's Rachel Zegler and Heartstopper breakout Kit Connor. There are only twenty weeks in this Broadway run so grab your tickets in one of their Sunday shows at Circle in The Square on October 13th!

We ALL know the story (unless you live under a rock!) but it's never been so meaty, so young, so queer and gorgeous. Sam Gold has ruthlessly trimmed the fat off and we are left with the essence of the tragic star-crossed lovers tale. The youth are indeed f*cked, especially in their own impulsive selves when left to their own devices in the world of violent ends, crafted by adults. Yes, it will be brutal. Yes, it will be chaotic. Yes, the ending will devastate everyone in the audience.

Imagine antiquated words echoing in the venue, spoken by young people in their modern clothing, modern intonations and mannerisms. It will be so easy to get lost into the story, especially with The Circle in The Square's stage that thrusts into the audience in three different directions. But they're not just limited on the elevated platform, cast will run through the audience with surprising interactions that will build up the story.

Grammy winner Jack Antonoff will also offer his musical genius and Tony winner Sonya Tayeh will be in charge of the movement, incredible choices to give the play a genuinely young mood. Curious about the full cast and creatives that will fill up the play? Check the information below!
